Rome Renegades News Release
Rome, Ga. - The Rome Renegades finished up their third day of practice Friday morning at the Boys and Girls Club of Rome. Practice was cut down a little bit today in order to help the players legs recover from the last two day of practice and prepare for the two practices tomorrow. The Renegades did get a couple of players back who sat out the first couple days due to injury. With only two days left in camp the two practices on Saturday will be a big part in determining who will make the Renegades 25 man roster. Both practices (10:20am and 3:30pm) are open to anyone wishing to get a glimpse of the 2006 Rome Renegades.
In other team news, LB/FB Freddy Pesqueira was hospitalized Friday morning after being involved in a single car accident on his way to practice. Pesqueira suffered numerous bumps and bruises and will be out of practice a couple of day. Pesqueira is running reps at Linebacker, Fullback, and Defensive Line.
