Rome Renegades News Release
Rome, Ga. - The Rome Renegades continued to prepare for the fast approaching AIFL season yesterday with another three hour practice at the Boys and Girls Club of Rome. With players continuing to become more comfortable with practice structure as well as schemes, the intensity level continues to rise on the field. Players were more confident with their assignments which made for great competition between the 35 guys fighting not make the 25 man roster. After about 45 minutes of position drills, players ran one-on-one and three-on-three drills before finishing practice with an hour long scrimmage. The Renegades will continue to practice today at 10:00am at the Boys and Girls Club, and have two practices Saturday at 10:20am and 3:30pm. All practices are open to the public and fans are more than welcome to come and watch the Renegades prepare for the season.
