Renegades Schedule First Try-Out Camp

The Rome Renegades will conduct their first try-out camp for the 2007 season on Saturday October 28th at the YMCA Soccer Park in Rome.
Registration will take place from 9-10 and the try-outs will run from 10am until 2 pm. The try-outs cost $40 and players need to wear shorts, a shirt, a pair of cleats. All participants will get a Renegade combine tee shirt.
The combine will include a variety of physical testing and skill specific drills.
The Rome Renegades will play in the World Indoor Football League next year, the season scheduled to begin in February.
2007 will mark Rome's third season and Coach David Humphrey's hopes the third time out will be the charm for the Renegades who have played in championship games each of the last two years, falling at Tri-Cities, Washington in 2005 and losing to Canton Ohio in Rome at the end of the 2006 season.
Coach Humphreys hopes to have up to a dozen players returning from last years 14-3 squad and may have 10-15 openings on the active roster which has been expanded by two players from last year.
