Renegades take a hard loss against Southwest Louisiana

ROME, Ga. – With a final score of 42 to 30, the Renegades take a hard lose against Southwest Louisiana. "You can't turn the ball over and expect to win. Southwest Louisiana toke advantage of several of our miscues, and that is what you are supposed to do," said Head Coach, David Humphreys. The Renegades threw two interceptions which the Swashbucklers used for a total gain of 35 yards.

On Defense, Eugene Phillips had six great tackles and 1 assist, while Joe Killins had a total of nine tackles, five solos and 4 assists. With a total of 104 yards receiving, Clinton Rafe was among the Renegades top offensive players. Rafe received for a total of 55 yards and on kick returns ran for another 49.

Despite the lose, the Renegades continue to please the crowd with wall to wall action. Tonight's game, with 2,100 fans in attendance, was full of some hard hitting indoor excitement, and the fans can't seem to get enough!

The next three games will be on the road for the Renegades, so be sure to tune in to Q-102 for the all the away action. The Renegades next home game is Sunday, May 8.
