
Renegades Dominate AIFL All- Star Selections

Rome Renegades News Release
Rome, Ga- Four Rome Renegade offensive stars and two Renegade defenders made the first team unit today.
Renegade quarterback Marcus Brady. now with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League was chosen as the first team Quarterback and was joined on the offensive squad by running back Lew Thomas, wide receiver Gerald Gales and offensive lineman Reggie Jiles.
Defensive end John Bowman, who is with Brady in Montreal now, was chosen to the first team defensive squad along with defensive back Charles Jones.
The rest of the first team offense include wide receivers Redd Thompson of Richmond and Lavell Bailey of Raleigh as well as linemen Tommy Moody of Daytona Beach and Darin Damron of Chattahoochee Valley. The other first team defenders are linemen Lawrence Lewis of Richmond and Terrance Chapman of Raleigh along with linebackers John Williams of Raleigh and Tim Jones of Richmond and defensive backs Montrail Pittman of Raleigh as well as Nick Allison of Daytona Beach. The first team kicker was Chris Segaar of Richmond and the first team kick returner is Robert Bailey of Daytona Beach.
The second team offense includes offensive linemen Reggie Poole, Dwayne Morgan
and defensive back Jermaine Collins. Kicker Danny Marshall also made the second team all star squad.
The Renegades (12-2), winners of the American Indoor Football League's Southern Division, open post season play Monday night June 19th, at 7:00, at home against the Chattahoochee Valley Vipers (8-6). Rome and Chattahoochee Valley split their regular season series with the Vipers winning in Columbus on a last second field goal and Rome pitting the Vipers in the rematch in Rome.
