Renegades Announce Dance Team Tryouts

LUBBOCK, TX: February 26, 2007 - The inaugural Lubbock Renegades of the arenafootball2 league, in conjunction with Raider Xtreme, the official Dance Team Coordinators of the Renegades, have announced that tryouts for this season's Renegades Dance Team will be conducted Thursday, March 8th, at 8PM.
The tryouts will be conducted at Raider Xtreme located at 5044 Frankford Avenue in Lubbock. Individuals seeking to be part of the team are required to attend all eight Renegades home games, all dance team practices, and will be required to attend all outside functions and events scheduled by the team and coordinators. Tryout participants will be required to perform several routines during the audition, including a single axle, double pirouettes, consecutive leap combinations, 15 seconds of freestlye, and will be judged performing routines taught during the auditions.
Raider Xtreme, which will serve as the home of the Renegades Dance Team, is the 2006 "Best of Lubbock" winners of the Best Gymantics/Dance School category. Former Texas Tech Cheerleaders Shane and Shyloh Winfield own and operate Raider Xtreme. The Renegades kick off their inaugural campaign April 6th on the road in Amarillo. Their home opener is scheduled for a 3 PM kickoff on Sunday, April 15th at City Bank Coliseum against the Arkansas Twisters.
