Relive the 1996 Memorial Cup Live with Jeff Twohey and Petes Alumni on September 17

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes are heading back to the big screen on Thursday, September 17 for Petes Under the Stars presented by Gibson's Finest Canadian Whisky.

Fans are invited to enjoy a screening of the 1996 Memorial Cup semi-final game between the Petes and the Brandon Wheat Kings, including a live Q&A with former players hosted by long-time NHL and junior hockey executive Jeff Twohey. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 4 at 10:00 AM. They can be purchased from the PMC Grant Thornton Box Office online here , or over the phone at 705-743-3561, with a portion of the proceeds supporting Peterborough minor hockey.

This exciting game features fan favourites like Zac Bierk, Shawn Thornton, and Kevin Bolibruck. Fans can look forward to a live panel hosted by former General Manager Jeff Twohey and players from the 1996 Petes. The PMC drive-in event will also include visits from Roger the mascot, a live 50/50 draw, jersey raffle, giveaways, concessions, merchandise deals, and more, all in conjunction with Petes Alumni presenting partner Gibson's Finest Canadian Whisky .

Gates will open at 5:00 PM, with the game set to begin at 7:05 PM, rain or shine. The cost is $29.99 (plus fees and taxes) per vehicle when tickets are purchased ahead of the event and $39.99 (plus fees and taxes) when purchased at the gates.
