21 Questions with Ryan Beck

Ryan Beck's rights were acquired by the Spirit along with Ryan Suzuki and Peter Fleming in a January 2020 trade with the Barrie Colts. On June 15, 2020 Beck signed an OHL Standard Player Agreement and Education Package with the Spirit. The Michigan native played his first full junior season during the 2019-20 campaign for the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the United States Hockey League. The Belle Tire Under-16 graduate scored five goals and added 23 assists in 41 games. Internationally, Beck represented the United States at the 2019 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, where he scored a goal and an assist in four games. Beck has also taken park in USA Hockey Boys Select 16 & 17 Development Camps in his career. Below are 21 Questions with Ryan for Spirit fans to get to know a little more about him.

3) Do you have any siblings (brother/sister, age, name)? - 3 sisters. Jenny 36, Jessica 34, Sarah 19 and 1 brother Tony 33.

4) Do you have any pets (kind/name)? - 1 dog. Its a lab and its name is Bauer

5) What's your most memorable hockey moment? - Playing overseas for my country.

6) Who is your favorite NHL Player and why? - Nicklas Backstrom, I try to model my game after him

7) Why did you choose the Number you did? - I got it when I first started playing and never switched it since

8) Who's your favorite NHL Team? - Detroit Red Wings

9) What's your favorite sport other than hockey? - Golf

10) What are some of your hobbies? - Hockey, golf, video games and working out

11) What's your favorite TV/Netflix Show? - The Office

12) What's your favorite movie? - Miracle on Ice

13) Who's your favorite Band/Artist? - Morgan Wallen and Kid Cudi

14) What's your favorite Restaurant? - Chipotle
