Ontario Reign News Release
ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, along with the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter announce the second jersey design contest that is open to the public for the Reign's 5th Annual American Red Cross Jersey Night. The Jersey Night is scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2014.
Last season was the first time that the Reign and the American Red Cross went to the public to hold a jersey design contest. The top four designs were chosen and then put to an online popular vote. Brittney Ingersoll from Rialto, Calif. won the design contest and her jersey design was worn by the Reign players during a game and were then auctioned off in a live auction to benefit the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter. This season will be the second consecutive season to hold such a contest.
All jersey design submissions should incorporate the Ontario Reign and American Red Cross logos and be consistent with both organizations' values. Please indicate the exact colors in PMS (Pantone Matching System) format and submit the piece via email as a pdf. The design can be computer-generated or hand-drawn. Please refer to the Official Rules for Red Cross Jersey Night located at www.ontarioreign.com/community/jersey .
The designs that meet the contest requirements will be reviewed by a panel, consisting of American Red Cross employees, and business and community leaders from the region. The panel will choose the top four (4) designs, which will then be voted on by our fans at ontarioreign.com. The winning jersey design will be produced and worn by the Ontario Reign during the Red Cross Jersey Night game.
In addition to having their design manufactured and then worn by the Reign players, the winning designer will receive a team-signed jersey, four (4) VIP tickets to the Red Cross Jersey Night on January 18, 2014, on-ice recognition and more!
Don't miss your chance to design a Reign specialty jersey. The contest is open now (July 1, 2013) and will close Sunday, August 4 at 11:59 p.m. All designs need to be sent to Yevette.Ramos@redcross.org . Entries will not be accepted through the Ontario Reign.
Visit www.redcross.org/ie or click here for design requirements, the entry form, and complete rules. For further questions contact Yevette Ramos of the American Red Cross at (909) 888-1481 ext. 241.
