
Reign Wrap up Road Trip Tonight

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), square off against the Tucson Roadrunners at 7:05 p.m. PT at Tucson Arena in Tucson, Arizona. Tonight is the second of 12 regular-season meetings between the two teams.
LoVerde Lights the Lamp: Reign defenseman Vincent LoVerde registered his second two-goal game of the season last night in a 3-2 setback to the Tucson Roadrunners. The team captain also buried two goals and added an assist on October 21 against the Texas Stars is currently tied for first among AHL defensemen with four goals.
Special Teams Battle: Despite not scoring a power-play goal for the first time this season last night against the Roadrunners (0-for-1), the Reign man advantage continues to lead the AHL at 42.0 percent (11 goals on 26 advantages). Tucson currently holds the second best penalty kill at 90.6 percent (three goals against on 32 advantages. Tonight is the third-straight game the Reign have faced the #2 PK in the AHL after taking on Tucson last night and San Antonio last Sunday.
Wrapping up a Road Trip: The Reign complete a season-high five-game road trip tonight and hold a record of 1-2-1-0 along the journey.
Moving Coast to Coast: Similar to the LA Kings' movement of their AHL club from Manchester, New Hampshire to Ontario, California, the Arizona Coyotes relocated their AHL affiliate from Springfield, Massachusetts to Tucson, Arizona last May. Full Story
