Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Ryan Horvat.
Horvat, 22, netted 11 points (three goals, eight assists) and 89 penalty minutes in 52 games with the Manchester Monarchs (AHL) during his rookie campaign last season and added a goal in nine Calder Cup Playoff contests to help the Monarchs capture the Calder Cup championship.
Prior to turning pro, the Simcoe, Ontario, native totaled 84 points (32 goals, 52 assists) in 185 games in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Guelph Storm and is a member of the 2014 OHL championship team.
The Reign celebrate Opening Weekend on Friday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m. against the Bakersfield Condors and Saturday, October 24 at 6:00 p.m. versus the San Jose Barracuda at Citizens Business Bank Arena!
