Where The Team Stands: The Pats begin the new year in third place in the East division with a 20-17-0-1 record and fourty-one points, five behind Moose Jaw and eleven points behind division leading Saskatoon ... The Pats sit twelve points ahead of Prince Albert and fourteen ahead of Brandon ...

Roster Update: The Pats have twenty-seven players on their current roster, including two goaltenders, nine defencemen, and sixteen forwards ... Eleven have been drafted by the Pats ... Ten have been acquired via trade ... Five were protected list additions ... One was selected in the CHL Import Draft ...

Leading Pat: Eighteen-year-old Petr Kalus has twenty-one goals and twelve assists for thirty-three points ... Troy Brouwer of Moose Jaw continues to lead the league with fifty-five points (twenty-eight goals, twenty-seven assists) ...
