Regina, Saskatchewan - Matt Bradley and Emil Oksanen each scored twice and had two assists to lead the Pats to a 7-3 win over the Saskatoon Blades on Saturday night. Regina led 4-0 after the opening period, scoring three times with the man advantage. Oksanen picked up all four of his points in the opening frame while Jake Leschyshyn picked up his first goal of the year. In the second, the Blades scored twice to the Pats one and it was 5-2 heading to the third. Saskatoon got it to within two with a shorthanded goal from Cameron Hebig, but Matt Bradley would answer for the Pats and then Jeff de Wit added another late goal on the powerplay to make it 7-3 and that was the final score. The Pats outshot Saskatoon 41-21, the powerplay was four for 10 and the penalty kill four for five. Max Paddock made 18 saves for his first win of the year. The Pats (3-3-1-0) will host a rematch with the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Brandt Centre.
