Reggy the Purple Party Dude to Appear at All-Star Game

EUGENE, OR - With the best of the Northwest set to converge on Eugene on August 5th for the Northwest League All-Star Game at PK Park, the Eugene Emeralds have announced that Reggy the Purple Party Dude, one of the most popular traveling characters in sports, will appear at the All-Star Game on August 5th at PK Park.

Reggy, who has previously made appearances at Eugene Emeralds games, has been performing comedy and dance routines at ballparks and stadiums across the world since 2001. Best known for his slapstick style and interactions with coaches and umpires on baseball fields throughout the U.S., Reggy also serves as the Mascot Hall of Fame's official spokes character.

The PK Park gates will open at 4pm on Tuesday, August 5th for the All-Star Fan-Fest, which will include live music presented by Pedal Power Music, a two hour autograph session with the Northwest League All-Stars, inflatable games, and fun for all ages. The 2014 Northwest League All-Star Game presented by Northwest Toyota Dealers will get underway at 7:05pm.

Eugene's own Medium Troy is set to perform two, 45-minute sets at the All-Star Game, and a Silipint cup giveaway has been announced for the first 1,000 fans that purchase tickets to the All-Star Game and enter through PK Park's home plate gates.
