RedHawks Win Third Straight in Oconomowoc

OCONOMOWOC, WI. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks took down the Lake Country DockHounds 5-1 in Oconomowoc Wednesday evening.
Jesse Remington took the hill for Lake Country and started off the ball game with some sparks from the RedHawks.
On the second pitch of the game, Peter Maris doubled to center field. Manny Boscan and Leo Piña would draw walks to load the bases. John Silviano would drive in the game's first score with an RBI single. Evan Alexander reached on a walk to plate the second run. Manny Blanco would end the inning with a diving stop, which you can see HERE .
In the second frame, Zion Pettigrew made a fantastic snag , taking away what would have been likely an extra base hit.
In the fourth inning, Maris homered for Fargo-Moorhead to extend the lead, 3-0. That would be his second hit of the night to this point.
Some phenomenal plays were made in the field tonight by both sides. Wilfredo Gimenez snow-coned two baseballs in foul territory to add on to the defensive presence of the DockHounds.
Peter Maris continued his impressive night with a two-run blast to right field in the bottom of the eighth. That made the score 5-0 Fargo-Moorhead.
Lake Country scored once and it came in the bottom of the ninth when Gabriel Noriega smoked his fifth home run of the season. The DockHounds couldn't get themselves to rally back, as they fell 5-1.
