Bear Bay and the Winnipeg Goldeyes shutout the RedHawks, 6-0 in front of 4,013 fans in Fargo. Bay pitched a complete game allowing five hits and zero runs with four walks and eight strikeouts. The win put the Goldeyes at 37-35 and dropped the RedHawks to 45-28 on the season.

Batting second, Demetrius Heath hit a single and was driven home when Brent Metheny crushed a two-run homer over the right field wall in the first. They added another pair of runs in the top of the third after a couple RedHawk errors drove in Fehlandt Lentini and Heath. First, Heath reached on a throwing error to Garry Bakker at first by Ruben Salazar. The first error sent Lentini running to third when Bakker threw it just over Jeff Eure's head, notching another error, and plating Lentini. An RBI single by Ehrnsberger scored Heath, giving the Goldeyes a 4-0 lead.

With the RedHawks still scoreless, the Goldeyes kept putting the hammer down in the sixth. Antoin Gray ripped one past Jeff Eure at third base that plated Chad Ehrnsberger from second base, putting the visitors up 5-0. Kevin West doubled in the seventh to score Brent Metheny.

The final game of the series will be in Fargo on Thursday at 7 p.m. with Northern League Pitcher of the Week, Billy Weitzman (4-2, 3.57), starting for the RedHawks and Brandon Kintzler (5-3, 4.26) getting the nod for the Goldeyes.
