Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks News Release
Fargo - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks game slated for 7:02 pm this evening against the Kansas City Monarchs has been postponed due to today's continued rain and unplayable field conditions. Since this would have been the final contest of the three-game series, the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, July 19 th when Kansas City makes its return trip to Fargo that weekend. Game times are yet to be determined.
The RedHawks took the first two games of the series, 5-0 on Monday night and 5-4 yesterday afternoon. The team is now off Thursday before embarking on their longest road trip of the season, a ten-game trip over 11 days. It begins Friday night at the Sioux Falls Canaries to open a three-game series. From there, the RedHawks travel to Lincoln to face the Saltdogs for three games May 20-22, and then to Cleburne for a four-game weekend series against the Railroaders May 23-26.
Following the travel day on Monday, May 27 th , the RedHawks are back at Newman Outdoor Field Tuesday, May 28 to open a three-game series against the Winnipeg Goldeyes. It's the start of a nine-game homestand with Milwaukee and Sioux City coming to town as well.
