
RedHawks Open Championship Hunt Wednesday

FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks will open the 2010 Northern League Playoffs against the Gary SouthShore RailCats at 7:02 p.m. on Wednesday night at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo. Game 2 will be Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. before the best-of-5 series shifts to Gary on Friday night.
All tickets to RedHawks home playoffs games are just $5.00 in advance and $7.00 day of game. For all home playoff games, there will be $1.00 hot dogs and Pabst Blue Ribbon pounders will be 2 for $5.00 all game.
With school in session at NDSU, parking for both games will be at the Fargodome, and the RedHawks will be running shuttle buses from the parking lots to Newman Outdoor Field.
The RedHawks ended the regular season with a Northern League-best 61-39 record. It marked the eighth time in 15 years the RedHawks finished with the top regular season record and the sixth time the team has reached the 60-win plateau. Only one other team, the 2004 St. Paul Saints, have ever won 60 games in a Northern League season.
