Tonight's Game-- After last night's exhilarating win over Memphis, the RedHawks celebrate Indepedence Day in New Orleans with a game against the Zephyrs at 6 p.m.

Last Night-- Fernando Martinez capped off a back-and-forth game with a two-run walk-off homer to send the RedHawks to an 11-10 victory in 10 innings over the Memphis Redbirds. The lead changed hands six times throughout the game, including twice in the first inning. Memphis shot out to a 3-0 lead, only to see the RedHawks score four in their first at-bat. Heading into the fifth, the RedHawks built the lead to 7-3. Memphis rallied for five in the inning, tying the game on a Mark Hamilton three-run homer and taking the lead on a bases loaded walk by Lou Montanez. Mike Hessman hit a two-run homer in the sixth to put OKC back in front, 9-8. Adron Chambers tied the game with an RBI single in the ninth and gave the Redbirds the lead with another RBI knock in the 10th. With one out in the bottom of the inning, Martinez blasted a 1-0 pitch from Eduardo Sanchez (0-3) into the upper deck in right field to give the RedHawks a win in front of a season-best 10,294 fans. Mickey Storey (6-2) allowed his first run in eight appearances, but walked away with the win.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Paul Clemens looks to break a personal three-game losing streak...After winning six of seven starts from May 12-June 12, Clemens has lost each of the last three times he's started...During the streak he has allowed 13 runs and 29 hits over 18.1 IP for a 6.38 ERA...Last Friday he took the loss in Iowa, allowing five runs and eight hits in 5.1 IP...After giving up a couple of quick runs in the first, Clemens retired 13 of the next 14 hitters, but would eventually be chased in the sixth...Clemens has notched a pair of victories over New Orleans in two starts, but he has allowed nine runs and 15 hits in 10 innings while receiving 19 runs of support...Like Clemens, New Orleans pitcher J.D. Martin has struggled of late...Over seven appearances in June, Martin posted a 7.96 ERA...His 7.15 ERA for the season ranks third-highest in the PCL...Martin has excelled at throwing strikes, issuing 15 free passes all season...His walks per nine ratio ranks third-best in the league...The RedHawks have hit Martin well, touching him up for 14 runs and 14 hits over just 6.2 IP...OKC is hitting .452 against him.

Walk It Off-- Last night the RedHawks captured their fourth walk-off win of the season, and their third via walk-off homer. It was also the second straight time a walk-off home run occurred while the RedHawks were trailing.

Century Club-- Jimmy Paredes' three hits last night brought his season total up to 101. He leads all Astros farmhands and is one of seven players in the PCL to reach triple digits. Scott Moore holds the next-highest total on the team at 78. Last night also marked his 11th game with three or more hits.

26 and Counting-- Mike Hessman blasted his third home run in four games last night, bringing his season total up to 26--the most in the PCL and the second-most in the Minors. It's the most by a RedHawk in a single season since Nelson Cruz hit 37 in 2008. The Oklahoma City franchise record is 38, set by Dave Roberts in 1965. Hessman is on pace for 44 homers.

Wally's World-- Over his last nine games, Brett Wallace is 17-for-30 (.567) with a home run and four doubles. Since returning to the RedHawks on June 19, Wallace is hitting .426 (23x54) with three homers and nine RBIs.

Offensive Ebb and Flow-- In the RedHawks' last 12 wins, they have scored 101 runs (8.4 rpg). In their last 11 losses, they have scored just 21 runs (1.9 rpg). They have scored more than three in their losses just twice.

The X-Man-- Last night reliever Xavier Cedeno allowed just his second earned run of the season, brining his ERA with the RedHawks up to 0.71. After holding lefties to a 1-for-32 mark over his first 17 games, they've gone 3-for-11 against him the last two times out. Cedeno recently returned to the RedHawks after spending about a month with the Astros. He allowed three runs over 9.1 IP and earned his first Major League save June 18 vs. Kansas City.

Telling a Storey-- Last night Mickey Storey allowed his first run in eight appearances, spanning 12.0 IP. Since moving back to the bullpen after making a couple of spot starts, Storey has allowed two runs over his last 20.2 innings, with nine hits and 18 strikeouts.

LOBbying for Wins-- In four of the last five games, the RedHawks pitching staff has stranded 10 or more runners on base.

Three RedHawks Named All-Stars-- On Thursday, the Pacific Coast League announced Mike Hessman, Jimmy Paredes, and Landon Powell were selected to the 25th annual Triple-A All-Star Game on July 11 in Buffalo, New York. Hessman was voted as the starting first baseman, and Paredes and Powell were selected as reserves.

Against the Zephyrs-- New Orleans won four of the seven games these teams played consecutively, June 7-13...The Zephyrs won two times after trailing with two outs in the ninth...Only once has either team won consecutive games against the other (New Orleans, June 8-9)...The RedHawks are hitting .309 against the Zephyrs, led by Jimmy Paredes (.469) and Brad Snyder (.440)...Nick Green has been a nightmare for OKC, going 10-for-26 with 10 RBIs...Mike Cervenak is hitting .400 and has also driven in 10 runs...Tonight marks the first of nine straight games against each other, broken up by the All-Star Break.
