
RedHawks Advance To Northern League Finals

FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, by virtue of Friday night's 5-3 victory over the Gary SouthShore RailCats, have advanced to the 2010 Northern League Finals and will face the winner of the Kansas City T-Bones/Joliet JackHammers semifinal series. The RedHawks won the best-of-five series against Gary 3-0.
The RedHawks will open the Finals on the road for Games 1 & 2 before returning home for Game 3 on Friday, September 17 at 7:02 p.m. at Newman Outdoor Field. Game 4 (if necessary) will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 18 and Game 5 (if necessary) will be at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19.
The RedHawks Ticket Office will be open Saturday from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. Fans can also purchase tickets online immediately at www.fmredhawks.com. Phone orders will also be accepted during Saturday's ticket office hours by calling 701-235-6161.
All tickets are $5.00 in advance and $7.00 the day-of-game. The RedHawks will have $1.00 hot dogs and $2.50 Pabst Blue Ribbon pounders for all home game in the Finals.
The RedHawks trip to the Northern League Finals is the second in a row and marks the ninth time in 15 years the franchise has advanced to the second round of the post-season, and seventh time the club has advanced to the Finals. The RedHawks have won four Northern League Championships since entering the league in 1996, and a fifth title would set the record for most championships in league history. The RedHawks will also attempt to be the first back-to-back champions in the Northern League since the 2001-2002 New Jersey Jackals.
