RedHawks Add Two Ahead of 2023 Season

Fargo, ND - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks are excited to announce the signing of outfielder Dillon Thomas and the acquisition of catcher BJ Lopez for the 2023 season.

Dillon Thomas, a native of Texas, brings a wealth of experience to the RedHawks, having reached the Major Leagues with the Seattle Mariners and most recently with the Los Angeles Angels.

BJ Lopez, an Aguadilla PR native, joins the RedHawks after spending the 2021-2022 seasons within the Kane County Cougars.

"We are thrilled to have Dillon and BJ on board for the 2023 season," said RedHawks manager Chris Coste. "Both players bring a tremendous amount of talent and experience to our team, and we are confident they will make a significant impact on the field."

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks begin their defense of the American Association Championship on May 11, against the Kane County Cougars before returning to Newman Outdoor Field to square off against the Winnipeg Goldeyes to open the home schedule on May 15th at 6:30pm.
