Redenbach, Sullivan To Start in CHL All-Star Game

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League today announced that forward and current CHL scoring leader Tyler Redenbach and rookie defenseman Sean Sullivan have been named starters for the Southern Conference in the 2008 CHL All-Star Game to be played at the Broomfield Event Center, home of the Rocky Mountain Rage, on Jan. 16 in Broomfield, Colo.

The starting lineups for both the Northern and Southern Conferences were voted on by CHL Head Coaches, communications staffs and members of the media in each market.

Joining Redenbach and Sullivan as starters are the Laredo Bucks' Jeff Bes, Serge Dube and Dustin Traylen and the Odessa Jackalopes' Dominic Leveille.

Redenbach currently leads the CHL in scoring with 44 points (12g/32a) and a league-best 21-game point streak despite being on recall with the AHL's San Antonio Rampage since Dec. 18.

Sullivan, also on recall with the Rampage (AHL), ranks tied for third among rookies in and fifth overall among defenseman in scoring with 25 points (9g/16a).

Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro was named coach of the Southern Conference All-Stars after securing the Southern Conference's best winning percentage following an 8-1 win over Rio Grande Valley on Dec. 23.
