OTTAWA - The Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League made the following transactions today:
RELEASED international defensive back Fred Gaines
RELEASED international defensive back Lew Toler
RELEASED international defensive lineman Eric Harper
RELEASED international linebacker Justin Cudworth
RELEASED international receiver Jamill Smith
RELEASED international defensive lineman Cory Henry
RELEASED international running back Torrance Hunt
The REDBLACKS have the team's first practice on Sunday, June 21 at Gee-Gees Field on the Lees campus of the University of Ottawa, beginning at 11:15 a.m. The address is 200 Lees Ave. in Ottawa.
The REDBLACKS open the 2015 CFL season in Montreal at Percival Molson Stadium on Thursday, June 25 against the Alouettes. The REDBLACKS' home opener is Saturday, July 4 at TD Place against the BC Lions, with a 6 p.m. kickoff.
