Dear Red Wings fans:
As another season is in the books, I want to thank you again for your support throughout the 2007 season. It was a great season on and off the field with many milestones for our team.
Closer Bobby Korecky recorded a team record 35 saves
Starting pitcher Kevin Slowey was named the International League Pitcher of the Year while capturing the league ERA title
Catcher Jose Morales was named to the post season IL All-Star team , the first Wings catcher ever to garner that award in the 50 years of balloting
Matt Garza, Matt Tolbert, Jose Morales, Bobby Korecky and Stan Cliburn were all named to participate in the Triple-A All-Star Game in July.
In 2007, 19 different players played for the Red Wings and the Minnesota Twins.
Off the field, our attendance was 473,288 ... our highest regular season attendance since 1999, and the fourth highest in team history.
On behalf of our players and manager Stan Cliburn, our coaching staff, Board of Directors, front office staff, concessions staff, and all our part time employees thanks again for your incredible support and we look forward to seeing you next season.
