ROCHESTER, NY - The Red Wings welcome the Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals) to Frontier Field for the first time since 1990 for a six-game series beginning Tuesday. The week-long set is highlighted by Pride Night, a Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra post-game concert, and appearances from Bills' legend Thurman Thomas and 'Rookie of the Year' movie star, Thomas Ian Nicholas.
TUESDAY, JULY 12 VS. OMAHA STORM CHASERS (ROYALS) - 7:05 P.M., GATES OPEN AT 6:00
THURMAN THOMAS AUTOGRAPH APPEARANCE: Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas will be at the ballpark signing free autographs on Tuesday, July 12 from 6 - 6:45 pm. Thomas will only be signing the photos that will be provided at the ballpark. He will NOT be signing on personal items, jerseys, footballs, helmets, etc. Presented by Batavia Downs Gaming & Hotel.
TWO-FOR-ONE TICKETS: Every Tuesday, all 100 and 200-Level tickets are Buy-One-Get-One-Free presented by M&T Bank.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 13 VS. OMAHA STORM CHASERS (ROYALS) - 7:05 P.M., GATES OPEN AT 5:30
PRIDE NIGHT: Featuring a t-shirt giveaway (first 500 fans), pre-game performance by the Flower City Pride Band, fireworks, and more!! Get a Red Wings Pride Tank Top and ticket to the game for $34. Presented by Zweigle's.
POST-GAME FIREWORKS: Join us after the game for fireworks presented by Ellenwood Electric, Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers.
THURSDAY, JULY 14 VS. OMAHA STORM CHASERS (ROYALS) - 7:05 P.M., GATES OPEN AT 6:00
GRATEFUL DEAD NIGHT: Join us for a night filled with tributes to one of the world's most popular bands, the Grateful Dead. Deadheads, show your fandom by purchasing a t-shirt ticket pack starting at $36! There will also be a tie dye station located in the concourse.
PRE-GAME HAPPY HOUR: Enjoy $2 beers from 6-7 pm at the 10th Inning Bar and live music from Terrapin Society, presented by Budweiser
FOOD SPECIAL: Boneless Wings, offered at Batter Up for $8.
FRIDAY, JULY 15 VS. OMAHA STORM CHASERS (ROYALS) - 7:05 P.M., GATES OPEN AT 5:30
CAP GIVEAWAY: The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a camo Red Wings cap presented by Segar & Sciortino
THOMAS IAN NICHOLAS APPEARANCE: Nicholas, the actor who played Henry Rowengartner in the movie "Rookie Of The Year" will make an appearance presented by Nolan's Rentals and MGL Enterprises.
POST-GAME FIREWORKS: Join us after the game for fireworks presented by Local Toyota Dealers
FAMILY CAMPOUT NIGHT: Fans can spend the night under the stars at Frontier Field. No additional ticket -- other than a 7/15 game ticket -- is needed to camp out. After the game, fans will move their vehicles into the VIP parking lot and then re-enter the ballpark. Presented By Dunkin' and Wilkins RV.
DJ JOHNNY MAMBO: Local DJ Johnny Mambo will be at the ballpark pumping up the crowd throughout the game.
SATURDAY, JULY 16 VS. OMAHA STORM CHASERS (ROYALS) - 6:05 P.M., GATES OPEN AT 4:30
RPO NIGHT: Stick around for a performance by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra right after the game ends.
POST-GAME FIREWORKS: Join us after the game (and concert) for fireworks presented by ESL Federal Credit Union.
SUNDAY, JULY 17 VS. OMAHA STORM CHASERS (ROYALS) - 1:05 P.M., GATES OPEN AT 12:00
BEACH DAY: Join us for a fun day of beach-themed promotions and a towel giveaway (first 1,000 kids) presented by Alfred State College.
KIDS RUN THE BASES: After the game kids 12 and under can run the bases with Spikes and Mittsy presented by Wegmans!
