The Rochester Red Wings concluded their 2011 spring training schedule Friday, losing to the Boston Red Sox Triple-A affiliate Pawtucket Red Sox 8-1. With today's loss the Red Wings finished the 14-game spring training schedule with a 6-6-2 record.
Red Wings starter RHP Alex Baldwin received a no-decision, allowing just two hits while striking out two in 4.0 scoreless innings of work.
Rochester's offense managed just three hits.
The Red Wings open the 2011 season vs. the Pawtucket Red Sox on Thursday, April 7 at 7:05 p.m. at McCoy Stadium. The Red Wings open their home schedule Saturday, April 9 with a 4:05 p.m. vs. the Scranton/W-B Yankees at Frontier Field.
