
Red Wings Announce Roster Additions for Alumni Game

MUSKEGON, Michigan (March 10th) - With the 2015 Red Wings Alumni Game benefitting the Muskegon Lumberjacks Charitable Foundations (MLCF) coming up this weekend on Saturday, March 14th at 7:00 pm inside the L.C. Walker Arena, the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Association has announced the addition of five players to the Red Wings Alumni roster that will face off against the Muskegon Alumni team.
Below is the updated 13-man roster for the Red Wings Alumni team (asterisk next to the name indicates new addition to the roster):
Goaltender
*Gregg Malicke - Clarkson University (1993-94), University of Michigan (1995-98)
Defensemen
Craig Wolanin - 13-year NHL career with New Jersey, Quebec, Colorado, Tampa Bay, and Toronto from 1985-98
*Chris Tamer - 11-year NHL career with Pittsburgh, New York Rangers, and Atlanta Thrashers from 1994-2004, University of Michigan (1989-93)
*Lorne Knauft - 10-year professional career, 8 seasons combined in the Colonial Hockey League (CoHL)/United Hockey League (UHL) with the Muskegon Fury (1994-95 season), Thunder Bay Thunder Hawks, Flint Generals, and Brantford Smoke

Joey Kocur - 15-year NHL career with Detroit (10 seasons), New York Rangers, and Vancouver Canucks from 1984-99
John Ogrodnick - 14-year NHL career with Detroit (9 seasons), Quebec, and New York Rangers from 1979-1993

*Kip Miller - 11-year NHL career with Pittsburgh, New York Rangers, and Atlanta from 1994-2004, Michigan State University (1986-90)
General admission tickets for the game are on sale for the low prices of $12 for the Gold Sections (Sections 104-107 and 114-117), $10 for both the Black (Sections 103, 108, 113, 118) and Crimson (Sections 101-102, 109-112, 119-120) Sections, and $6 for youth ages 3-12. Additionally, V.I.P. tickets are available for $25 that includes entry into a special meet-and-greet postgame event at the Holiday Inn Muskegon Harbor next door to the arena.
To purchase tickets for the 2015 Red Wings Alumni Game, fans can stop by the L.C. Walker Arena Box Office this week during the normal business hours of 10:00 am - 6:00 pm or call (231) 724-5225. Doors for the game open beginning at 6:00 pm.
