The Tour, which features an exhibition game between the U.S. Military All-Stars and the Latin Stars, is the largest, fastest growing, most successful and only joint armed forces baseball program in the world. First pitch for the game is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
The tour visits over 40 states and six countries and provides the absolute finest patriotic atmosphere possible, while delivering highly competitive, exciting entertainment and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans.
The U.S. Military All-Stars team is comprised of members of all facets of the United States Armed Forces as well as first responders and the Intelligence Community. The team boasts players from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard.
The Latin Stars are professional players of Latino or Hispanic origin that travel the world competing in exhibitions against teams at all levels of baseball.
The "Red, White & Blue Tour" provides the only public event available today where Americans can demonstrate their support for our troops returning from one or more tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mississippi Braves General Manager Steve DeSalvo stated, "It is with great pride and excitement that we welcome the U.S. Military All-Stars and the Latin Stars to Trustmark Park.
