The Red Claws will open their fourth season on the road with games at Canton on November 23 and Fort Wayne on November 25. The team will return to Maine on November 30 for their home opener. The opening night contest will be Beat LA Night as the team "welcomes" the LA D-Fenders to Maine for the first time ever. To commemorate the long time rivalry of the Red Claws' parent team, the Boston Celtics, and the D-Fenders NBADL affiliate, the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as to celebrate the team's new hybrid partnership with the Celtics, the Red Claws players will be wearing Celtics jerseys. The game will feature the first national halftime act of the season, the Sandou Trio Russian Bar, a world-class, high-flying acrobatic act that has performed in numerous NBA markets.

Other scheduled national halftime acts this season includes Quick Change, as seen on America's Got Talent, the ever-popular Zooperstars, Simon Sez, and Jugglin' Josh Horton. Homegrown acts include the always popular Woodside One Wheelers unicycle troupe, the Stillson School of Irish Dance, Fournier's Karate School and the all mascot band, the Kastaways. Additional entertainment will be announced at a later date, and a complete list of halftime acts and other promotions can be found at www.maineredclaws.com.

The Red Claws will play 24 home games at the Portland Expo this season, and individual ticket prices will be available for $6, $10, $15, $20 and $30. Of the 24 home games, 20 will fall on weekend dates with eight on Fridays, six on Saturdays and six on Sundays. The team will play a total of eight afternoon games, with Sunday contests tipping off at 1 PM, 3 PM or 5 PM and two special Monday games with 1 PM starts, including New Year's Eve, to enable families with young children to attend.

Maine fans will have the opportunity to see 10 of the Red Claws' 15 NBA D-League opponents at the Portland Expo during the 2012-13 season. Making their way to Maine this season will be: Los Angeles D-Fenders, Sioux Falls Skyforce, Fort Want Mad Ants, Canton Charge, Erie BayHawks, Springfield Armor, Iowa Energy, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Bakersfield Jam and the league's newest entry, the Santa Cruz Warriors.
