Red Claws Reduce Training Camp Roster to 12

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, today announced that forwards Jonathan Dupre and Josh Jones have been waived by the team. The two players will enter the Available Player Pool and may be signed by any of the sixteen NBA Development League teams after November 28.

"This was an incredibly competitive training camp, and we wish both Josh and Jonathan well," said Red Claws President and General Manager Jon Jennings. "We think that Red Claws fans will be happy with the way the team is coming together and the team that hits the court this Friday in Springfield."

Returning Red Claws guard Paul Harris also remains on the team's roster but has not yet arrived in Maine due to an on-going family matter. All NBA Development League must reduce their roster to ten players by 5 PM on Wednesday, November 23. The Red Claws will tip off the 2011-12 regular season on Friday when they renew their rivalry with the Springfield Armor. The team will then travel to Erie for a game on December 1 before returning to Maine for their home opener on December 3.
