Red Bull New York News Release
HARRISON, N.J. - Looking to bounce back from a 1-0 road loss to Real Salt Lake, the New York Red Bulls return home to host Minnesota United FC on Saturday at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast regionally on MSG2 and can be heard on Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn.
Coverage of Saturday's match on MSG2 begins at 6:30 p.m. with Honda Red Bulls Game Night. Jonathan Yardley will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.
New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 6 p.m. ET with triHonda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon. Ernesto Motta will provide Spanish play-by-play, beginning at 7 p.m.
Since Red Bull Arena opened in 2010, the Red Bulls have the best home record in MLS, with the most home wins (85) and points (285). New York opened MLS play at home with a bang, defeating Portland, 4-0, on March 10 to extend their unbeaten streak in MLS play to nine (5-0-4). The Red Bulls have outscored their opponents, 23-6 with five clean sheets during the stretch.
The New York Red Bulls have found success following a loss under head coach Jesse Marsch. New York is 15-10-6 all-time with Marsch at the helm following a loss in MLS regular-season play. After a road loss, the Red Bulls have bounced back with an 11-7-5 mark under Marsch.
In the first six matches of 2018, New York's high-pressure system has created chaos for opposing offenses. Goalkeeper Luis Robles and the Red Bulls backline have allowed just one goal in the run of play through 540 minutes of competitive action.
New York will hit the road for a matchup against Orlando City SC on Saturday, March 31 at Orlando City Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast nationally on UniMas and can be heard on Red Bulls Radio in English on TuneIn.
