HARRISON, N.J. -The New York Red Bulls (14-9-8, 50 pts.) head to Yankee Stadium to battle rivals New York City FC (13-11-7, 46 pts.) on Saturday, September 17 at Yankee Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

Coverage on MSG begins at 12:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.

New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 12 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET.

This will be the 21st overall regular season meeting between the Red Bulls and NYCFC, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage in the series with a 10-7-3 mark. At Yankee Stadium, the Red Bulls have posted a 3-5-1 mark against NYCFC, but have outscored their rival, 17-15, in those matches. The Red Bulls are 4-1-1 in their last six matches and sit in third place in the Eastern Conference, while NYCFC are 1-4-1 in their last six matches.

The Red Bulls have clinched a spot in the 2022 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs for the 13th consecutive year, which is tied for the longest streak, both active and all-time in league history, with Seattle Sounders (13). The Red Bulls have qualified for the playoffs 23 times in 27 seasons, which is the most in league history. After their 2-1 win over New England on September 10, New York reached 50 points earned for the first time since 2018 and have recorded at least 50 points in 10 MLS seasons joining Los Angeles Galaxy and D.C. United as the only clubs to accomplish that.

Midfielder Cristian Casseres, Jr. scored his second goal of the season on September 10 against New England and the 13th of his MLS career. The Venezuelan international has recorded a goal or an assist in three straight matches. Since the beginning of August, Casseres, Jr. has tallied five assists, which is tied for the most in MLS during that timespan. Casseres, Jr. has recorded two goals and two assists in eight career matched against NYCFC.

Following Saturday's match, the FIFA international break will begin and run from September 19 to September 27. After the international break, New York will travel to Ohio to face Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, October 1.
