The month of September saw multiple Red Bulls Academy players break into the regular rotation for Red Bulls II:
Erick Ruiz - One of two Academy players to appear in all four matches in September, Ruiz started two and logged 265 minutes. After making his professional debut on August 3, the midfielder has appeared in seven of New York's next nine matches. Overall, he has totaled 465 minutes on the season.
Arian Recinos - After being part of the Guatemala U-20 National Team that qualified for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup while at the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, Recinos returned and made an immediate impact on Red Bulls II. The defender started three of the club's four matches during the month and logged 222 minutes. He has appeared in nine matches this season, with seven coming since August 20.
Nathan Worth - Worth appeared in two matches in September and made his second career professional start on September 17 at Oakland, playing a career-high 90 minutes. The 15-year-old has four matches, two starts, and 170 minutes in 2022.
Davi Alexandre - Another 15-year-old, Alexandre appeared in New York's defensive battle against Detroit City FC on September 21 and logged 13 minutes. Like Worth, Alexandre has appeared in four matches and started two. He has accumulated 173 minutes.
