
Red Bulls Fall to FC Cincinnati, 2-1, at Red Bull Arena

-The New York Red Bulls fell to FC Cincinnati 2-1 on Saturday, October 15 at Red Bull Arena in the First Round of the 2022 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
-New York struck in the 48th minute, as a long rebound following a FC Cincinnati save fell to the feet of Lewis Morgan, who ripped a shot into the back of the net.
-FC Cincinnati equalized in the 74th minute on a penalty kick from Luciano Acosta.
-The visitors took the lead in the 86th minute, as Sergio Santos sent in a ball from the far side of the field that found Brandon Vázquez, who immediately sent in a shot.
-Morgan has scored 18 goals across all competitions this season. It also marked his first career postseason goal.
-Carlos Coronel tallied four saves in the contest, which set a new postseason career high.
-Five Red Bulls players made their postseason debuts: Daniel Edelman, Frankie Amaya, Luquinhas, Elias Manoel, and Serge Ngoma.
