
RazorSharks Sign Ricky Price

(Rochester, New York)....The Rochester RazorSharks today announced the signing of 6'6" forward Ricky Price, a former star at Duke University and a veteran of nine seasons of professional basketball. Price began the season with the Knoxville Noise of the American Basketball Association, where he played three games, averaging 3.0 points per game and 1.3 rebounds.
A teammate of former RazorShark Chris Carrawell at Duke University, Price was Third Team All-ACC in his sophomore season at Duke when he averaged 14.2 points per game. He was also named to the Great Alaska Shootout All-Tournament Team that same season. In high school he was a McDonald's All-American, First Team Parade All-American and a gold medalist in the 1994 Junior Olympics.
Price has played professionally in Slovenia, the Netherlands, France, Venezuela, the Philippines, the Ukraine and Mexico. In the United States Price played for the Yakima Sun Kings, Great Lakes Strom (CBA) and the San Diego Stingrays (IBL).
