Rochester RazorSharks News Release

Rochester, NY- The old saying in Chicago used to be "vote early and vote often".

Saturday afternoon in Rochester, the RazorSharks scored early and often as they rewrote the PBL record book in a 176-96 victory over Chicago.

This one was never in doubt as the RazorSharks flew out to an early 22 point lead enroute to setting a PBL record for points in a quarter with 52. After one the RazorSharks led by 25 with Keith Friel pouring in 22 points in the frame.

In the second it was more of the same as the RazorSharks became the first team in PBL history to score 100 points in a half as they led Chicago 101-52 at the intermission. For the half, the RazorSharks shot 79% from the field, 80% from three point range, and Keith Friel had 27 points through two quarters.

From the third quarter on, the only doubt left was the margin of victory by the RazorSharks which would be a PBL record of 82.
