
Halifax sends Montreal to their eighth straight loss

Halifax, NS- A.J. Millien had a game high 24 with Cordell Jeanty adding 20 as Halifax moves to 11-8 on the season with a 130-89 dismantling of Montreal.
Halifax never trailed in this contest as they streaked out to a game opening 22-6 run and cruised from there. The Rainmen would lead by 15 after one, 24 at the half, 26 after three and would finish with a 41 point victory.
Millien's 24 points was his best performance since being acquired by the Rainmen from the Augusta Groove. Millien still leads the PBL in scoring at 25.1 a contest. Cordell Jeanty added 20 for Halifax as they improve to 11-8 on the year.
Montreal was led by Andrew Richards's 23 with Rantana Sak adding 22 for Montreal who have now lost eight straight ballgames.
The two teams will face off again on Sunday afternoon at the Metro Centre in Halifax. Gametime is set for 2:00 AST.
