
RazorSharks Freeze Out Frost Heaves 113-100

(Rochester, New York)...In a battle of the top two teams in the American Basketball Association's North Division, the defending ABA Champion Rochester RazorSharks defeated the division-leading Vermont Frost Heaves 113-100 in front of 4,178 fans at The Blue Cross Arena in downtown Rochester on Saturday afternoon. Rochester (14-5) has won seven of their last eight games and has 27 straight wins on home court. Vermont dropped to 17-4.
Guard Keith Friel led Rochester with 23 points, including four three-pointers as the RazorSharks never trailed in the game. Forward James "Mook" Reaves had 19 points and 15 rebounds, and Demond Stewart contributed 16 points and Eric Coley chipped in 14 points for Rochester. Melvin Creddle had 22 points for Vermont.
The RazorSharks return to action on Monday, January 15 - Martin Luther King Day - as they host the Cape Cod Frenzy at 4:05 p.m. in a special holiday game.
