
Rayz Season Ticket Holder Party This Tuesday

The Corpus Christi Rayz are pleased to remind fans of their Season Ticket Holder Pre-Season Party, on Tuesday, October 16th at Katz 21 Steak & Spirits from 7:00-9:00pm. Season tickets holders are invited for an exclusive kickoff to the 2007-2008 season. Rayz players and staff members will be on hand as the 2007-2008 roster is unveiled to the fans for the first time. There will be food served, along with a cash bar and door prizes to be awarded. All season ticket holders and corporate sponsors are welcome to the party in downtown Corpus Christi. This coming Tuesday at 7:00pm, the Rayz will host their first party of the year. The party is open to season ticket holders of all ages, however patrons under the age of 21 will be asked to leave at 9:00pm in accordance with Texas laws. Season ticket holders can bring any merchandise they would like autographed and will have the first opportunity this season to share an evening with the Rayz. The Rayz are coming off of their most successful campaign since merging into the Central Hockey League in 2001, and are looking to build off of that for their 10th Anniversary season. Corpus Christi will return to the American Bank Center for their home opener on Saturday, October 20th at 7:05pm. Individual tickets are currently available for as little as $12. In on the ice news, the Rayz announced on Thursday that they have waived two players from their training camp roster. Forward, Jordy Johnson and defenseman, Drew Baker were both placed on waivers, dropping the training camp roster number to 23 players. The Rayz must cut down to a maximum of 19 players by Thursday, October 18th in accordance with Central Hockey League roster regulations.
The Corpus Christi Rayz will begin their 10th Anniversary season on October 19th and return to the American Bank Center for their home opener on Saturday, October 20th at 7:05pm vs. Rio Grande Valley. The Rayz are proud to be celebrating a decade along the Gulf Coast and invite all of South Texas to join in the fun of the 2007-2008 campaign.
