Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - Dan Moylan homered and drove in six runs and Yadier Molina contributed four hits as Tennessee (30-22, 65-57) snapped a 3-game losing streak with a 10-3 win over Orlando (22-28, 54-65) Wednesday night at Disney's Wide World of Sports.
Bucky Jacobsen put the Smokies ahead 4-2 with a his league leading 26th home run, a two-run shot off Jason Cromer (1-2) in the fifth. Following an O-Rays run in the fifth inning, Moylan put the game out of reach against reliever Derek Anderson in the 7th. With two men on, the Tennessee designated hitter launched a line drive of the right field foul pole to give the Smokies a 7-3 lead.
Moylan set a new season high for RBI for a Smoky, driving home six with the home run, a two run single, and an 8th inning RBI ground out. He's homered twice this season, with both coming at Orlando.
Molina became the fourth Smoky to turn in a 4-hit night this season, going 4-for-5 with three runs.
Josh Kinney (3-1) tossed 2 1/3 perfect innings to earn the win in relief.
The Smokies conclude their series at Orlando with Josh Axelson (2-1, 1.84) pitching against Bartolome Fortunato (4-2, 2.57) Friday night.
