Rawhide Homestand Preview May 24 - May 29

VISALIA, CA - As we head for June, the Rawhide open up their fourth homestand of 2016 in first place in the California League's North Division! The 'Hide will play seven contests in six days, welcoming in their North Division Rival San Jose Giants for three followed by the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes for four, including a double-header on Family Fun Sunday!

Tuesday, May 24th is another 2-Fer-Tuesday at Rawhide Ballpark, sponsored by Chevron-Texaco. The Rawhide will open the homestand with a 6:00 p.m. tilt against their North Division rival, the San Jose Giants. Fans can pick-up a 2-for-1 ticket voucher at participating Chevron-Texaco stations in Tulare and Kings County and redeem it at the ticket office for 2 tickets for the price of 1 (Grandstand value or below)! It's also Realtor Night and for the first time this season you can purchase Garlic Fries at the concession stand!

Wednesday, May 25th presents another Win-Win Wednesday, which means if the Rawhide win, the fans win by receiving a FREE ticket voucher to the next Wednesday home game (June 29th)! The 6:00 p.m. first pitch against San Jose is also a Reading Day brought to you by Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) and Eddie The Owl will be in the house hanging out with his good friend Tipper! So bring those completed bookmarks for Tipper's Reading Club and get a Family Four-Pack of Tickets to the game!

The homestand continues Thursday, May 26th with another Thursty Thursday brought to you by Party City! $1 select beer will be available at the Left Field & Home Plate Concessions stands from 6 - 8 p.m. It's also "College Night," where students with a college ID can get 2-for-1 tickets! The ticket deals don't stop there because it's also Country Theme Night brought to you by Party City. If you dress up in Country Western themed clothing you will receive a $5 Cold Zone ticket to the game. The gates open at 6:00 p.m. for the 7:00 p.m. first pitch in the series finale against the San Jose Giants but arrive early and enjoy some pre-game music courtesy of Eddie Guzman.

The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes come to town on Friday, May 27th and It's a Fun-Filled Fireworks Friday at Rawhide Ballpark brought to you by Suncrest Bank! In Honor of playing the California League affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Dodger Dogs will be available at the concession stand all series long! Come root on the Rawhide starting at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 28th at 7:00 p.m. vs the Quakes is an All-American Saturday presented by Budweiser! Your Rawhide players will be adorned in American Flag Jerseys and with the purchase of a Boot Mug, fans will be able to buy half-price beer and discounted soda all season long on Saturdays! Come join the Rawhide as we celebrate 70 years of baseball in Visalia with a flyover by the Lemoore Naval Air Station and in the seventh inning Visalia Mayor Steve Nelson will give a proclamation to the Rawhide! Any fans over 70 years old get a free Pasture ticket and active members or veteran's of the military can purchase a $5 military ticket (grandstand value or below)!

Carl's Jr. wants you to have a Family Fun Sunday on May 29th at the ballpark! Kids club members get to run the bases following the conclusion of the second game of the Rawhide Double Header with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes! Then, 500 pounds of candy will be dropped on the field presented by Party City and AMR and children 12 & under will be able to grab as much candy as they can as part of our Carl's Jr. Kids Club Membership. All kids wanting to participate must be members Tipper's Kids Club. 100 first aid kits will be handed out at the entrance and 200 Dental Bags will be given away after the Candy Drop is over! All season long on Sundays, First Responders can get a $5 Grandstand ticket as part of the Rawhide "Everyday Heroes" plan courtesy of A & W Restaurants.

The Rawhide, along with MiLB have partnered up with Sunrun Sundays and you can visit their booth at the game to win cool prizes. We will also have Elite Hoverboards in the house helping you learn how to ride a Hoverboard and be safe while doing so! The gates open at 12:00 p.m. and first pitch will be thrown at 1:00 p.m.
