April 21, 2015 - California League (CalL1)
Visalia Rawhide News Release
Wasn't that opening homestand fun?! The Rawhide went 6-1, and you all showed up in great numbers. Know what? Let's do it again this Thursday-Sunday, as the Rawhide welcome the Stockton Ports for 4 promotion-packed games!
It begins on Thursday, April 23rd with a 7:00 game; it's the first Thirsty Thursday of the season, presented by Coors Light! Coors & Miller Lite will be $1 from 6-8 PM, so come early and come parched! It'll also be an 80's-themed Thursday, so come kitted up in your best 80's outfit, and we'll give you a voucher for a free beverage at the ticket window! (Look, we're practically paying you to wear 80's gear...is this a great country, or what?!)
Friday, April 24th is a Fun-Filled Friday with Hitz104.9, and it's also the first fireworks show of the season! Get there early before the 7:00 game, because Minor League Baseball President Pat O'Conner will award Rawhide outfielder Breland Almadova with his 2014 Rawlings Gold Glove Award; Breland was named the best center fielder in Minor League Baseball last year! It'll be a special moment, and the ceremony will take place around 6:50, so make sure to be there for it!
Saturday, April 25th is another All-American Saturday! Past & present military members will receive a half-priced ticket by showing their military ID at the ticket window, and everybody can get half-priced beer and soda with your boot mug! Plus, the team will again wear their patriotic red, white, and blue uniforms...we encourage you to do the same. And if you're a fan of Professional Bull Riding, there'll be a few pro bull riders at the game, and they'll be signing autographs beforehand! First pitch is again at 7:00.
The homestand concludes on Sunday, April 26th with the first Reading Club Sunday, presented by EECU! If your child is in Tipper's Reading Program at their local school, they can bring their completed bookmark to the ticket window for 4 free tickets to the game! It'll also be the first Family Fun Sunday, presented by Carl's Jr. and KJUG Country! All Kids' Club members will be able to run the bases after the game.
It's gonna be an awesome weekend, so get your tickets at RawhideBaseball.com, over the phone at 732-HIDE, or in person at the ticket window along Giddings Street! Roll 'Hide!
