
Rawhide Fall in Extra Innings

Lake Elsinore, CA - It took 10 innings, but the Rawhide fell to the Storm 4-3. The lead changed three times through the 10 innings.
Rawhide scored in the top first inning, but the Storm tied it in the second inning. In the third, Visalia's starter Ricardo Yan gave up an RBI single to Graham Pauley for Lake Elsinore's first lead of the game.
The score remained 2-1 in Lake Elsinore's favor until Danyer Sanabria tied it in the seventh inning. He singled into center field scoring Alvin Guzman from second base. In the eighth inning, the Rawhide retook the lead. This time, David Martin brought in Guzman with a single to center field.
Liam Norris gave up the one-run lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. Ethan Salas walked to lead off the inning and Albert Fabian drove him in with one out. Rawhide had their opportunities in the ninth and tenth, but were unable to capitalize and left two runners in scoring position.
The Storm did not waste any time in the bottom of the tenth inning. With Salas placed on second base, Pauley singled into right field to walk it off with Alfred Morillo on the mound.
Lake Elsinore now leads the series 3-2 and is guaranteed to at least split the series. The Rawhide need a win to split. First pitch is tomorrow at 1:15 p.m.
