Rattlers Waive Four, Sign Three

Phoenix, AZ - The Arizona Rattlers completed their first three days of full workouts on Saturday, and announced that they have waived four players from their training camp roster. The Rattlers also announced the signing of three players who had been working out with the team on two-day waivers.
The Rattlers released OL/DL Duevorn Harris, OS Joey Getherall, WR/DB Jason Parker, and WR/DB Mike Bush. The Rattlers added OL/DL Adrian Wilson (6-2, 315, Miami, FL.), WR/DB Perry Carter (6-0, 203, Southern Miss), and WR/DB Justin Taplin (6-0, 183, Arizona State).
Adrian Wilson played for the Hurricanes from 1997 to 2000. He spent some time with the Baltimore Ravens in their training camp in 2001. Perry Carter was originally a fourth round draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 1994, and spent time in the CFL as well. Justin Taplin played for the Sun Devils from 2000 through 2002. He was a Wide Receiver and Punt Returner for the Sun Devils.
Saturday's moves bring the Rattlers roster to 35. During the season, the Rattlers will have a 24-man roster, with four players on Practice Squad.
