Arizona Rattlers News Release

PHOENIX - Arizona Rattlers WR/DB Randy Gatewood and FB/LB Grant Steen will be visiting with kids at the Phoenix Children's Hospital on Monday, Apr. 30 at 2:30 p.m. The pair will be going from room to room, signing autographs and simply spending time with children at the hospital.

Being a parent himself, the two-time Ironman of the Year understands how blessed him and his children have been and how important it is to share that joy with children who have been faced with so much hardship at such an early age.

"I'm honored to go and spend some time with these kids," Gatewood said. "I know it means a lot to them. Anytime you can brighten someone's day like that, by making an appearance or signing autographs or anything like that, I think it'll go a long way."

Phoenix Children's Hospital is the only free-standing pediatric hospital in Arizona and one of the 10 largest hospitals of its kind in the United States. The facility provides medical care and treatment specifically designed to meet the unique needs of children.

The Arizona Rattlers have made assisting their community a priority throughout the franchise's 16 years of Arena Football. The organization and its players support a number of charitable causes throughout the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

If you or your organization would like to help the Rattlers give back to the community through our Hand of to Kids program contact the Rattlers at (602) 379-2333. The Hand Off To Kids program allows companies and individuals to purchase tickets to be donated to help underprivileged youth attend a Rattlers game.
