Orlando Predators News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. (April 26) -- Orlando shuffled its roster once again on Thursday, releasing nose tackle Eddie Freeman. If the first-year lineman is not claimed off waivers by tomorrow afternoon, he becomes a free agent.
Freeman was a second round draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2002. He played two seasons with Kansas City, appearing in 20 games. He also spent time in training camp with Jacksonville (2004-05) and New England (2006). Freeman made the Predators roster out of training camp, but spent the first four weeks on injured reserve.
He played in a total of three games with the Predators, making 1.5 tackles with a half of quarterback sack.
The move marked the 26th roster transaction the Predators have made in the last 30 days.
