Phoenix, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers announced Monday that they have signed wide receiver Dewayne Boston, defensive lineman Joshua Gordon, defensive end Chris McAllister, and running back Darrell Monroe for the team's inaugural season in the Indoor Football League (IFL).

Gordon (6-1, 250, Minnesota State) holds several school records for the Minnesota State Mavericks. He is the single season sack leader (17.5 sacks), the career leader in sacks (43 sacks) and in tackles for loss (63 TFL). He was also named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Year, and received All-NSIC First Team accolades his senior season. Gordon received All-American honors in both his junior and senior seasons.

The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School where he was a two-year starter for the Vikings.

McAllister (6-2, 250, Baylor) spent the NFL's 2014 preseason with the Houston Texans prior to joining the Rattlers in 2015.

McAllister attended Baylor where he finished his career as the all-time sack leader for the Bears. During his senior season he earned first team All-Big 12 honors as well as second team Academic All-Big 12 honors. He also earned the Holiday Bowl Defensive MVP award his junior year.

McAllister was born in Aschaffenburg, Germany and eventually moved to Converse, Texas where he attended Judson High School. While there, he was the 2008 District 27-5A Defensive MVP as well as First-team San Antonio Express-News All-Area 5A honors as a senior. He also earned third team 5A All-State honors as a junior.

Monroe (6-2, 220, Arizona Western) attended Arizona Western where he earned the ACCAC Offensive Player of the Year in both seasons he played for the Matadors. Overall, he ran for 1,673 yards and 18 touchdowns.

The Caruthersville, Missouri native attended Caruthersville High School, where he rushed for 1,430 yards on 130 carries and scored 25 touchdowns his senior season.

Boston (6-3, 205, Ferris State) attended Ferris State University where he amassed 580 yards and five touchdowns and averaged 13.5 yards per catch for the Bulldogs.

The Oviedo, Florida native attended Oviedo High School, where he also played wide receiver.
