
Rattlers Sign Two from Open Tryouts

PHOENIX - The six-time world champion Arizona Rattlers have announced the signing of wide receivers Zech Culbreath and Isaiah Huston, both of whom were participants in the Rattlers open tryouts held back on February 29th.
Culbreath (5-8, 170, Northern State University) was a three-year starter for Northern State University, putting up 2,065 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns over his career. He was named D2 Defensive/Special Teams Player of the Week for his game against Upper Iowa in 2017.
The 23-year-old receiver is a Queen Creek, Arizona native and attended Chandler High School where he earned an All-Region Honorable Mention in 2013 as a running back, helping lead the Wolves to a 10-3 record in 2013 and an appearance in the state semifinals.
Huston (6-0, 180, Arizona Christian University) Huston was a preseason NAIA All-American for Phoenix College and played two years before transferring to Arizona Christian University. There, he played in twelve games with three starts producing 681 yards receiving and eight touchdowns on 44 catches over two seasons.
Also an Arizona native, Huston played both defensive back and receiver at Boulder Creek High School in Arizona. During the 2012 football season he was selected to the Arizona All-State Team as an Honorable Mention Athlete and All-Purpose Player by both Scout.com and The Arizona Republic. Huston earned first-team Division I All Section 3 as both a receiver and kick returner.
