
Rattlers Sign OL Mady; QB Wolf

Phoenix, Ariz. - The Arizona Rattlers announced Wednesday that they have signed offensive lineman Lamar Mady and quarterback Jon Wolf for the 2017 season in the Indoor Football League (IFL).
Mady (6-2, 315, Youngstown State) played for the Arizona Rattlers in the 2016 season. Prior to joining the Rattlers, Mady spent time with the National Football League's (NFL) Oakland Raiders, where he played in seven games during the 2013 season, and spent the 2014 season on the Raiders' practice squad.
Mady attended Youngstown State where he played in 22 games during which he did not allow a sack or pressure. Mady transferred from Butler County Community College where he was named first-team All-Jayhawk Conference and first-team All-Region VI.
The Topeka, Kansas native attended Topeka High School where played both center and defensive tackle. Mady earned first-team All-Centennial League selection during his senior season, and as a junior was a second-team All-Centennial League pick as a center.
Wolf (6-4, 225, Minnesota State) attended two NFL rookie minicamps prior to signing with the Rattlers. He received an invitation to Minnesota Vikings camp as a wide receiver, and a week later, attended the Miami Dolphins rookie camp as a quarterback.
Wolf attended Minnesota State-Mankato, where as a senior in 2013, he was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Year after compiling 3,204 yards in total offense. Wolf threw for 2,054 yards, 17 touchdowns and only two interceptions, while amassing 1,150 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground.
The Oak Forest, Illinois native attended Oak Forest High School where he was the conference player of the year. He was named to Chicago Tribune All-Area Honorable Mention and was First-Team All-State 6A.
