Rattlers Make the Cricket Connection

PHOENIX - Cricket Communications, Inc., a leading provider of unlimited wireless services, is teaming up with the Valley's Arena Football League, the Arizona Rattlers. Cricket Communications is the Arizona Rattlers' newest sponsor for the upcoming 2006-07 season. Cricket joins the rest of the community in offering its support to the Arizona Rattlers as they seek their third AFL championship.

"This is a natural partnership for us. Both Cricket Communications and the Arizona Rattlers provide quality and value to the Valley," said Dennis Maguire, area general manager for Cricket in Phoenix. "The Rattlers are one of the best entertainment values in the region and we look forward to bringing another championship to this town."

Arizona Rattlers fans will have the opportunity to participate in special in-game promotions and the chance to win prizes from Cricket Communications. Throughout the season, Rattlers fans are eligible for seat upgrades through the "Show your Cricket, get a better ticket" promotion. Before each home game, Rattlers fans that show their Cricket phone can enter to win a pair of premium seats. During the season, Rattlers players, cheerleaders and team mascot "Fang" will appear at Cricket stores throughout the Valley. Lucky Rattlers fans will also have the opportunity to be invited onto the field for in-game promotions at each of the eight home games.

The partnership kicks off on March 3 when the Arizona Rattlers take on the Georgia Force at the US Airways Center. Cricket is celebrating its fifth year of wireless service in Phoenix.
